I bought these for a friend who has stomach issues. He crushed about 20 of them, knowing their potential effects, and absolutely nothing happened. At this price point, this is a hugeeeee ripoff. On top of that, the package that they come in is not standard Haribo packaging. They come in a bag with a label affixed to them that looks like it came off of someone's printer. I would highly highly recommend against purchasing these.
The title is a bit misleading. I was expecting this to be an inside story on the Trump campaign itself. Instead it was more of an analysis of Alex Jones and the Alt-right's influence on Trump.
Works great so far. Have used the battery pack multiple times, charged via USB in the wall mostly, and once with the solar panels. Worked perfectly to charge my smartphone and my son's while on the road away from a wall charger, and at Disneyland. I keep at least the fully charged battery pack in my bag for times I know that we'll probably need a recharge, and it's worked great so far. I do have spare Eneloop batteries as well, and I've heard that those hold a charge better than the ones that come with this kit, but I can't tell the difference personally. I wish I had a lot of money to buy more Goal Zero products...I love the idea, and the quality is great as far as I can tell. Solar power is the future, so jump on board and you'll be an instant convert too.
My wife and I bought this item because we are remodeling our kitchen and are going to be without a stove for several weeks. For the very first use I set the burner to a medium setting to warm up some soup and left then left the room. A minute or two later I smelled something burning and immediately ran into the kitchen. There was dark smoke coming out of the bottom of the unit and it smelled like burning or melting plastic. The entire unit, not just the burner, was so hot that I could not touch it, even when trying to use a kitchen towel to grab it. I was worried that it was going to catch on fire so I took a shovel from outside, scooped it up, and placed it outside in a snow bank.
When my order arrived the gelcaps inside the bottle were fused into a tight ball. I spent 30 minutes trying to pry them loose, unsuccessfully. Don't know if excess heat occurred in warehouse or during shipping but I won't order this through Amazon again. I have to return the product to the manufacturer who has agreed to replace it. Be warned!
This was bigger than I expected, but is a wonderfully sturdy appliance and seems to charge the batteries quickly! I'd recommend it, particularly as new cameras consume batteries at such a rate. I'm about to invest in the rechargable C and Ds as well, since every hurricane season (Caribbean) we have to buy new batteries for flashlights, radios, etc, which end up dying before we even get to use them. Now that we have this charger, I only need to buy the rechargeable batteries ONCE! That's convenience and cost savings!
